Founding of Chemical Biology Ventures

Chemical Biology Ventures (CBV) was formed to provide translational research advice & expertise to academics, biotech & pharma to accelerate the production of new products from world-class science.
During the last ten-years CBV's founder, Lloyd Czaplewski, built-up an antibacterial R&D business called Prolysis. He was responsible for the core science, portfolio creation, intellectual property, fund-raising & business development - leading to the sale of the business to Biota in 2009.
Chemical Biology Ventures aims to work with world-class academics, charities, Research Councils, Venture Capital groups and businesses to enhance translational output & impact through the delivery of new products & to maximise the generation of wealth.
